Mario V. Chalmers Foundation Makes Donation To Boys & Girls Club Of Lawrence’s New Teen Center

On September 28, 2015, the Mario V. Chalmers Foundation donated $5,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence’s New Teen Center in Lawrence, KS. The center will serve more than 250 teens on a daily basis – five times as many middle school and high school students than the current Center. The donation is part of the Mario V. Chalmers Foundation pledge of $25,000 to the Boys & Girls Club’s Great Futures Start Here capital campaign. Both the Mario V. Chalmers Foundation and Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence empower, inspire and enable youth to live healthy lifestyles, put education first and give back to their communities.
